Reservations/Payment: To guarantee your reservations, a valid credit card is required. We prefer cash payment and also accept VISA, Mastercard, Discover, or travelers' checks.
Cancellations/No Shows/Early Departures: We request at least 5 days' notice to cancel your room (14 days' notice required for peak season, holiday, special events and weddings). Otherwise, one half of the reservation total will be charged to the credit card on file. Guests who are "No Shows" or depart earlier than scheduled are responsible for the full amount of the reservation, including taxes.
Smoking, etc: Due to the historic nature of our home and for the comfort of our guests and family, ours is a non-smoking Inn. Otherwise, a $250 cleaning fee will be charged to the credit card on file. Also, while they can set a romantic mood, we ask that you do not burn candles our guest rooms.
Damages: We understand that accidents may happen, so please bring any damages to our attention as soon as possible. Damages to linens or furnishings, other than normal wear and tear, noticed during or within a day of your stay will incur an appropriate and reasonable repair or replacement fee, charged to the credit card on file.
Children: Well-behaved children ages 6 and older are welcome. The Inn is not suitable for younger children.
Pets: No pets, please. We have a small, very friendly dog on-site, and we are happy to recommend boarding options in the local area.
